Happy Mother's Day to my wonderful Mom!

Happy Mother's day Mom! You have been a wonderful Mom to me through the years. You were always there for me, guiding me, teaching me, loving me, picking me up when I was down, and teaching me how to stand up for myself, and instilling in me creativity and a love for art, music and musicals. Most of all thank you for teaching me that Family is the most important thing along with loving God. I'm so happy that through all of life's trials our relationship has remained strong. I am so blessed to have a Mom like you hope that you know how much you mean to me and how much I love you! I love that you always encouraged me to do what I love and showed the me the wonderful world of creativity! I would not be who I am today without it. I am also thankful for Grandmommy who was the most wonderful Grandmother anyone ever had and brought so much color, fun, wackiness and love into our lives and gave me a wonderful Mother. Also for my Sister's who are the best Mommies too! I am so thankful that Carrie was blessed with precious little Elliott after so many years of painful waiting, it was all worth it in the end, he is such a wonderful miracle. There is nothing better than watching your Sisters become Mommies and feeling the unconditional love of motherhood! I love you all so much, Happy Mother's Day!!

Roller Skating!

Roller skating was my thing growing up. I went every chance I got and loved it. I felt so free and invincible flying through the air and around corners with speed. The music was amazing and fun and made you feel like you could do anything! Oh how I miss those days of roller skating. It sure is hard to find remnants of roller skating memories online, I guess it really is bygone. I found these really cool skates and pom pons here at Low Price Skates.
I always loved the disco ball and the colored lights and the cool kaleidoscope light art on the walls at the rink. Loved the games like shoot the duck, the corner game, backwards skate and such. The music is what really takes me back. There is just some music that IS skating rink music. Songs like Jam on it, Rapper's Delight, Flygirl, I Feel for You, Celebration. I had a pair of jeans with a roller skate patch on the back pocket, those were my FAVORITE jeans! I wish I had a picture of them. I also had a roller skate purse (shaped like a roller skate) and a roller skate diary. I skated in the Jerry Lewis Skate-a-thon when I was 7 for 12 hours. We only had a 10 minute break every hour and I lasted the whole 12 hours. Roller skating was such a huge influence on my life and I sure miss it!

My Beautiful, Wonderful Girls!

My girls are wonderful! I took these pictures in January outside. I love to take pictures of them outdoors. The natural light is so beautiful and they can run around and act crazy which is natural for them! I love seeing the beauty in life through their eyes. They have so much talent and personality and I love watching them grow up and learning who they are. I cherish every moment and don't want them to grow up too fast but will love seeing who they become! I know they can and will do whatever they want in life! I love my girls!

Gorgeous outdoor wedding

Here are some pictures of the gorgeous outdoor wedding that I worked on the weekend. It was a perfect day to get married outside. There were two Jasmine trees to the side of the ceremony location that scented the area amazingly. It smelled so good I didn't want to leave.

Bye Uncle Noah!

Well we just got home from dropping off Uncle Noah in St. Pete. I think he was happy to be leaving us, but we weren't happy to see him go. We really enjoyed having him with us for a few days. I loved going out to breakfast with him and sorting all my cd's with him. The girls will miss him lots!! They love their Uncle Noah!

Monstera leaf paintings

I painted two Monstera leaf paintings to hang in my bedroom and bathroom. I had two spots that needed artwork and I wanted a natural spa feeling. I found a picture of a Monstera leaf which I have always found intriguing and I painted over two canvases I had laying around. I like how they came out. Anyway here they are...

My Brother Made Me Do It!

My Brother has been nagging me to make a Blog. He says I'm the most creative person he knows. I know I am creative. I know people tell me all the time I am creative. BUT does anybody care that I am creative? Do I have a reason to blog? Will I update it enough to matter? He says it doesn't matter. He says do it because I need to, do it because I love it. So I am. I am blogging. This is me. Read it. Don't read it. Enjoy!
